This small O-ring is essential for the smooth operation of your finimeter, so it should also be replaced every time the finimeter or console is overhauled to prevent damage due to wear.

A classic high-pressure swivel, i.e. a pressure gauge swivel, requires two such O-rings, which should be greased well with suitable silicone grease each time they are fitted.
