The harness of a wingjacket on the backplate holds the diving jacket firmly to the body. If the harness is not adjustable, a problem arises. If it fits perfectly when worn, it is almost impossible to put the jacket on and take it off without problems. If I adjust it further, it sits loosely on the body during the dive and slides back and forth. With this buckle, a harness can easily be adjusted wider and tighter without the risk of it accidentally loosening or adjusting itself when entering or exiting the water.
