This regulator, the Jetstream MK3 is a favorite of many Navy divers because it is robust and provides reliable air in all situations. The world’s first pilot valve controlled regulator meets the high demands of professional divers. It can be used from the cold waters off Canada to the tropically warm Indo-Pacific and is particularly suitable for cold inland waters. Like all Poseidon regulators, there is no difference in breathing comfort between surfacing and descending. The side mounted exhale brane allows the regulator to breathe coming from the right or left side. The first stage is equipped with a safety valve just like the Xstream Deep. This is necessary because the pilot-operated second stages do not open automatically when the intermediate pressure rises, as is the case with the toggle-operated regulators. The Cyklon from Poseidon is one of the rocker-controlled second stages. With the second stages of the Jetstream there is technically no difference, the main regulator and the octopus are built the same. The regular revision is offered by many store operators.
