One of the most widely used production methods for Nitrox is the partial pressure method. Many of the oxygen transfer hoses used for this purpose have a union nut with a G3/4″ female thread in accordance with EN-144 and DIN 477. However, the most commonly used diving cylinder valve has a G5/8″ female thread. This is where this thread adapter comes into use, enabling the connection of the diving cylinder valve to the oxygen transfer hose.
