Small diving cylinders are increasingly used in diving to carry gases (argon, helium, oxygen). This 1 litre steel cylinder with 300bar working pressure is suitable for all common gases and gas mixtures. Due to the higher pressure, a larger gas volume is available at the same cylinder size, making this cylinder suitable not only as an argon storage cylinder for filling drysuits but also as an oxygen cylinder for first aid after a diving accident, or as a bailout/stage cylinder in technical diving. In a rebreather, this steel cylinder can be used as an oxygen or diluent gas cylinder.
