Float Strap for Underwater Cameras

This SeaLife Float Strap is a universal float strap designed to provide positive buoyancy to underwater cameras as well as other waterproof items such as dive torches.

Floats most waterproof cameras

Especially the SeaLife Micro cameras have negative buoyancy, but not only these. Waterproof dive lights and other waterproof devices also need buoyancy occasionally, and this handy float strap is excellent for that, with a buoyancy of 100g in freshwater and 103g in saltwater, it will float most underwater cameras and other waterproof devices.

Don’t rely on the weight of the camera or device on land to determine whether or not the Float Strap will float your device. What counts is the weight of the camera in the water to determine buoyancy. To do this, you need a tensile force meter to measure the buoyancy, or you can simply try it out.

Secure attachment

The strap is made of soft, closed-cell neoprene and can be securely fastened to the joint with a practical sliding lock. The attached nylon rope can withstand up to 23kg of weight on land, so will have no problem securing your small underwater camera.

And if you don’t want to attach the Float Strap to your wrist, there is also an integrated clip on the strap that allows you to attach it to a D-ring on your BCD.
