Various methods are used to securely attach double diving tanks to a sport diving jacket or wing jacket. The safest method is mounting with 8mm thick threaded bolts. The 8mm threaded bolts have a core diameter of about 6.5mm after deducting the thread depth. This strength ensures secure attachment of all common double diving tanks. Even the 12-liter 300-bar diving tanks as a double unit, which weigh about 35kg, can be reliably attached.
