Finimeter hose for Finimeter. What is a Finimeter? The old „hard“ divers had no way of reading the tank pressure. There was a reserve circuit in the diving tank valve. If the diver ran out of air, he knew that his breathing air supply was only about 40bar and he pulled the reserve circuit. This was an uncertainty factor. The first manometers for underwater use were developed in France and indicated the end of the air supply. This is why this instrument for the diver was given the name finimeter (fini = end). To connect this finimeter to the regulator, a high-pressure hose is used which has a flow limiter at the inlet. This is the case with every hose, whether Miflex or quality high-pressure hose. The connection thread in the first stage is 7/16″ UNF thread. Different lengths are available, depending on the jacket used, whether ADV or Wing.
