Assembly to extend the rebreather Se7en for manual addition of breathing gas.

The additional connections on the counterlungs can be used for the manual oxygen and diluent gas addition valves for technical dives. These valves can be replaced by dummy covers if manual gas addition is not desired or not required (e.g. for recreational diving, sport diving ). The connection for the manual oxygen supplementary valve ( right counterlung ) is intentionally placed higher than the dilution gas supplementary valve ( left counterlung ). This forces the diver to think before manually adding oxygen to the unit.

Manual addition of oxygen to the breathing circuit

The manual oxygen valve on the right counterlung allows you to add oxygen to the breathing circuit when it is appropriate. It adds more oxygen the longer the button is pressed.

WARNING: Manual additions require proper training and can result in serious or fatal injury if not used properly.

Manual addition of diluent gas ( diluent gas ).

The manual dilution gas valve on the left counterlung allows you to add dilution gas to the breathing tube when appropriate e.g. during rapid descents to compensate for the reduction in volume due to the increase in pressure. It adds more diluent gas the longer the button is pressed.

The counterlungs are not included in the delivery.
