Is the Mares X-Vision also available as a prescription dive mask?

The lenses of the Mares X-Vision can be replaced with optical lenses in different prescriptions or with reading inserts if required. You can order these separately in our online dive shop and fit them yourself. Alternatively, you can order the Mares X-Vision directly as a prescription dive mask, and we will be happy to fit the lenses for you.

Thanks to the X-shape, the strap sits particularly securely on the back of the head, while the elastic material ensures a firm hold. The strap can be easily adjusted, even with cold or wet hands.

How should you care for your dive mask and what helps against fogging?

To extend the lifespan of your mask, you should rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after every dive and regularly treat it with special cleaners such as Look Clear disinfectant spray or Mirazyme cleaning solution for dive equipment.
