Diving cylinders with M25x2 bottle neck thread are the most commonly produced diving cylinders, also in the 300 bar pressure rating, which offers the advantage of a larger air supply. The diving cylinder valves with metric threads M25x2 and M18x1.5 are O-ring sealed and are tightened with a lower torque than the conical bottle neck threads. This is beneficial for semi-professional assembly operations, as disassembly and assembly are not as demanding as with conical bottle neck threads.
