Soft-Sealing Check Valve for Compressed Air and Oxygen

Check valve made of stainless steel, suitable for an operating pressure of 300bar. Check valves are used to ensure that gases and liquids can only flow in one defined direction. This property also prevents dangerous situations from occurring, since the check valve prevents, for example, higher pressures from flowing into pressure vessels not approved for that pressure. Check valves also reliably prevent the backflow of gases, e.g. from the diving cylinder into the oxygen cylinder if it has a lower pressure. This danger exists especially when producing Nitrox using the partial pressure method. Check valves are therefore also used in oxygen hoses. The check valve should always be installed in oxygen transfer hoses at the inlet, i.e. the side of the oxygen hose that is connected to the supply cylinder. When used with oxygen, care must be taken to ensure that no contamination with oils and greases or flammable dusts occurs.
