The service kit is an original product from Poseidon and ensures the compatibility and quality you expect from this renowned brand. It is a cost-effective way to ensure that your Xstream Duration regulator functions optimally and allows you to enjoy the pleasure of diving without interruption.
The Xstream Duration is Poseidon’s Nitrox regulator, and therefore the kit is equipped with oxygen-compatible sealing materials. Please note that oxygen-compatible regulators must be serviced with oxygen lubricant instead of silicone.
Regulators are heavily used diving equipment; saltwater, dirt, and sand lead to wear on the O-rings and sealing elements located on moving parts. Contaminants can lead to spontaneous ignition when using 100% oxygen as a breathing gas.
A regulator service should only be performed by qualified individuals who have attended a training course.
This spare part kit contains all the necessary parts for the revision of the first stage. The maintenance interval of a regulator is determined by the manufacturer and is specified in the accompanying documents for the regulator.
