Threaded adapters with female thread – male thread can be used to join filling hoses as an extension. The thread of the adapter is manufactured according to the specifications of EN-144 and is a G5/8″ thread as used for compressed air / compressed air according to the standard. The thread adapter is sealed with an O-ring. Another conceivable application is the extension of valve connections if the space on the valve is too small for filling connections or tapping regulators. The material is nickel-plated brass, a material that is generally used for the manufacture of fittings. The external hexagon enables tightening and loosening with an open-end wrench so that the thread adapter is not damaged by handling with pliers.
