Steel cylinders have proven themselves as diving cylinders. The 300 bar technology is increasingly making its way into diving sports. Diving schools and dive centers are upgrading their breathing air compressors more and more to 300 bar. What are the advantages of 300 bar – the larger air supply with the same cylinder size and the diver requires less lead. Steel diving cylinders have a long tradition, but the 300 bar technology is just beginning to make its way into sport diving. Although the fire department has been working with 300 bar compressed air breathing protection technology for decades, the diving sport is lagging behind. The technology of regulators has been designed for 300 bar for many years.
