7-liter diving cylinders with 232 bar operating pressure are very widespread. Not only because this cylinder is also used by the fire department, but also because these steel cylinders have a manageable weight and dimensions. In addition, it offers a breathing gas supply that is sufficient for recreational dives. Thus, dives up to an hour in the depth range of the Open Water Diver are feasible.
