Installation is tool-free at the first stage of your regulator. Thanks to multi-constellation GNSS technology (GPS, Galileo, BeiDou), surface location determination is especially precise.

The strict avoidance of frequency interference ensures reliable operation, even when multiple transmitters are used at the same time.

How does the Swift Transmitter GPS differ from other dive computer transmitters?

The Swift Transmitter GPS extends classic air integration by adding the ability to record GPS-based entry and exit points. Compared to the original Swift, you benefit from the additional location function, which comes with a slightly shorter battery life.

The recorded location data can be shared with your dive buddy or a dive group, provided compatible Shearwater dive computers with transmitters are being used.

Which Shearwater dive computers are compatible with the Swift Transmitter GPS?

The Shearwater Swift GPS is compatible with all current air-integrated Shearwater models: Perdix 2, Perdix AI, Petrel 3, Peregrine TX, Teric, Tern TX and NERD 2.

The latest firmware must be installed on your dive computer to ensure that air integration and GPS functions work reliably together.

How does air integration work with the Shearwater Swift GPS?

With the Swift GPS, you receive real-time gas pressure data directly on your dive computer. Remaining gas time is calculated precisely, allowing you to plan your dives safely.

Data transmission remains stable, even when multiple transmitters are active nearby. An LED status light provides continuous feedback on the current operating status.

Can I share GPS data from the Swift Transmitter with others?

Yes. Any compatible Shearwater dive computer with transmitter within range can receive the Swift GPS signal. This allows entry and exit points to be documented together with your buddy or dive group and saved in the Dive Shearwater log.

How long does the battery of the Swift Transmitter GPS last?

The CR2 battery of the Swift GPS lasts for up to 100 dive hours under typical usage. The battery can be replaced easily and without tools, so your air integration transmitter remains ready for use.

Can I use the Swift GPS Transmitter with Shearwater Cloud?

No. The Swift GPS was designed exclusively for use with the new Dive Shearwater app.

The GPS data is still stored in the cloud, but can only be viewed after you have migrated to Dive Shearwater. In addition, the latest firmware must be installed on your dive computer.
