The Z-valve for diving cylinders is probably the most widely used diving cylinder valve of all. The effective construction, the well thought-out design and a minimum of components are the design features of this diving cylinder valve. The monovalve is suitable for all diving cylinders that have a cylinder neck thread M25x2mm and comply with the EN-144 and DIN 477 standards. Assembly requires some specialist knowledge and should therefore be carried out by trained personnel. The connection thread is G5/8″. thread, which is the compressed air connection according to DIN in the 200 ( 230 ) bar version. Diving cylinder valves of this design are often used abroad with green handwheel also for Nitrox, but it should be ensured that the diving cylinder and the valves are oxygen-compatible and oxygen-clean.
