7-liter diving cylinders with a working pressure of 232 bar are very widespread. Not only because this cylinder is also used by the fire brigade, but also because these steel cylinders have a manageable weight and dimensions. In addition, it offers a breathing gas supply that is sufficient for recreational dives. Thus, dives of up to one hour in the depth range of an Open Water Diver are feasible. As a twin set, this cylinder is probably the most commonly used twin set.
