The 3-liter compressed gas cylinder can be used just like the 2-liter diving cylinder. It is suitable for sport divers and technical divers who want to extend their dives. This cylinder is sufficient as an argon cylinder for filling the dry suit for dives of approximately 3 – 4 hours. When used in a rebreather, it extends the rebreather’s usage time by about 30% compared to a 2-liter cylinder. The 3-liter steel cylinder is also adequate as an oxygen cylinder in a rescue kit. The 3 liters of oxygen are sufficient for approximately 30 minutes of ventilation of an accident victim at 20 liters/minute breathing minute volume.
